EVANSTON, Ill. -- Defensive tackle Luis Castillo (Garfield, N.J./Garfield) leads the list of Northwestern football players who could hear their name called this weekend when the National Football League holds its 70th Annual Draft in New York.

ESPN and ESPN2 will televise the Draft. Check local listings for air time.

Castillo, who enjoyed stellar junior and senior seasons, could be drafted in any of the first three rounds, according to various Draft experts. Castillo recorded the top 40-yard dash clocking at the NFL's Combine in February.

In 2004, Castillo earned first-team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America honors, as well as Pro Football Weekly All-America kudos and second-team All-Big Ten honors.

Other players who could be drafted or sign free-agent contracts include: running back Noah Herron (Mattawan, Mich./Mattawan), offensive guard Ikechuku Ndukwe (Powell, Ohio/Dublin Coffman), offensive tackle Trai Essex (Ft. Wayne, Ind./Paul Harding), linebacker John Pickens (Franklin Lakes, N.J./Ramapo), defensive back Marvin Ward (Landover, Md./Eleanor Roosevelt) and offensive guard Matt Ulrich (Streamwood, Ill./Streamwood).
