
'Cats Drop Match at Harvard, 5-2

EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern fell to Harvard, 5-2, in the Crimson's season-opener Sunday. The Wildcats drop to 4-2 on the year.
Harvard swept the three doubles matches to claim the team point heading into singles.
Junior Adam Schaechterle (Oconomowoc, Wis./Kettle Moraine) notched his fourth victory of the year with a win against Gideon Valkin at the No. 5 position.
Sophomore Matt Christian (Troy, Mich./Brother Rice) earned the Wildcats another win on the day with a straight set victory over Dan Nguyen at No. 6.
