EVANSTON, Ill. - Freshman Tyrell Sutton (Akron, Ohio/Archbishop Hoban) has been named to Rivals.com Freshman All-America Team. Sutton, the Big Ten's Freshman of the Year, earned first-team All-America honors at the all-purpose position.

Sutton led all freshmen nationally in rushing yardage (126.4 ypg), scoring (108 points) and touchdowns (18). His 1,390 rushing yards is the fourth-best single-season total in NU history. Sutton shattered every Northwestern freshman running back mark. He also was NU's fourth-leading receiver out of the backfield, catching 37 balls for 329 yards. He caught two touchdown passes.
