MADISON, Wis. -- No. 13 Northwestern won all but two events Thursday night in a dual meet at No. 25 Wisconsin, downing the Badgers, 125-99.
On the diving boards, sophomore Ryan McIntosh (Louisville, Ky./Trinity) won both the 1- and 3-meter events.
His score of 388.125 on the 3-meter broke the pool record by 30 points -- previously held by All-American Timo Klami of Iowa.
The Wildcats opened the meet with a win in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:32.76. Senior Brian Davis (Issaquah, Wash./Issaquah) then captured the 1000 free with a time of 9:32.66 in the evening's first individual event.
Freshman Eric Nilsson (Weston, Mass./Weston) continued his streak of winning an event in every meet of collegiate career so far, this time capturing the 200 free.
Junior Matt Grevers (Lake Forest, Ill./Lake Forest) was a winner in the 50 free and the 200 back, while classmate and reigning Big Ten Swimmer of the Week Mike Alexandrov (Champaign Ill./Centennial) was a winner in the first 400 IM of the season as well as in the 200 breast.
Sophomore Kyle Bubolz (Waukesha, Wis./Waukesha North) won the 100 free for the Wildcats, who closed the meet with a victory in the 200 free relay.
Freshman Alex Kiaie (Milwaukee, Wis./Nicolet) qualified for the NCAA Zone diving championships with his efforts in the meet.
