EVANSTON, Ill. -- Senior Christie Gardner (West Bend, Wis./West Bend East) is the youngest member of a Big Ten volleyball tradition. One of the most prolific defensive players in NU history, Gardner and at least one of her three sisters have been playing the sport in the conference every year since 1997.
