EVANSTON, Ill. - A reminder to fans who are planning to attend Wednesday's Northwestern-Indiana men's basketball game -- the NU Athletic Department now opens Welsh-Ryan Arena 90 minutes prior to all men's basketball home games. This Wednesday's game will tip off at 6 p.m., with doors opening at 4:30.

A limited number of tickets are still available through NUsports.com or by calling the ticket office at 847-491-CATS.

Traffic around Welsh-Ryan Arena is expected to be heavier than normal due to the expected crowd and game time's proximity to rush hour. Fans are invited to enjoy dinner at our concession stands, which will also open at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

CTA, Metra, and Pace all provide service to Welsh-Ryan Arena.

*The CTA Purple Line from downtown Chicago stops at Central Street, where you may connect to the #201 CTA bus that stops a block from the arena or walk three blocks west on Central Street to the arena (just north of the Ryan Field football stadium).

*The Metra Union Pacific North Line from downtown Chicago and Kenosha, WI stops at Central Street, where you may also connect to the #201 CTA bus that stops a block from the arena or walk three blocks east on Central to the arena.

*Pace route #213 runs along Green Bay Road and connects with five other Pace routes, and also stops at Central Street.
