Time Changed for Tuesday's Home Game with Loyola

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern's Tuesday nonconference clash with cross-town Loyola will now be a single contest starting at 4 p.m. at Sharon J. Drysdale Field. The game was originally scheduled as a doubleheader beginning at 3 p.m.

The Wildcats are coming off a 3-2 week, including shutout victories over Northern Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota. Their record stands at 19-13 overall, 3-5 in the Big Ten. Courtnay Foster threw the shutout against the Huskies while Eileen Canney put up goose-eggs against the Badgers and Gophers.

Kristen Amegin led Northwestern at the plate last week, batting .364 with a .563 on-base percentage and a .909 slugging percentage. She hit a pair of home runs to give her a team-leading five on the year and walked five times, bringing her team-best total to 24 for the season.

Senior Carri Leto swatted a triple Sunday against Minnesota, bringing her career total to 14 and giving her second-place all-time by herself in the category at Northwestern.

The Ramblers come into tomorrow's game with a 15-20 overall record, 5-4 in the Horizon League. Lindsey LaChiana is Loyola's ace with a 10-9 record and a 2.46 ERA. Allison Scanlin leads the Ramblers at the plate with a .340 average, while Becky Marx has an astounding 28 RBIs on the season.
