EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern's softball game against state rival Northern Illinois, originally scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday at Sharon J. Drysdale Field, was canceled due to inclement weather. A makeup date has not been scheduled.

NU (21-11, 3-5 Big Ten) resumes play this weekend at Indiana and Purdue. The 'Cats meet the Hoosiers on Friday at 3 p.m. and Saturday at noon. The Boilermakers welcome the Wildcats for Sunday's doubleheader at noon.
