EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern University Women's Soccer Head Coach Jenny Haigh has announced the addition of Michele Magnuson to the team.

A transfer from Evansville, Magnuson is currently enrolled in classes at Northwestern and will be eligible to play for the Wildcats next season as a sophomore.

"Michele is a tenacious and competitive player," said Haigh. "I think she could help us immediately in the back next fall. We are excited because she is a good player and covers a lot of ground on the field. She gets foward and attacks extremely well out of the back, and she is also very good one-on-one defender. We are excited that Michele will add her talent and experience right away."
