Oxman, Carter Place at NCAA Diving Zone Competition

OXFORD, Ohio - Mike Oxman (Mequon, Wis./Homestead) and Ashley Carter (Louisville, Ky./Sacred Heart Academy) each placed in the top 11 in competition at the NCAA Diving Zone C held this weekend. The duo combined to record three performances that earned them trips to finals competition.
Oxman earned Northwestern's top finish of the weekend in the platform diving. The freshman posted a score of 377.65 to finish eighth.
Meanwhile, Carter recorded two 11th-place finishes. The sophomore posted scores of 315.15 in platform diving and 439.50 on the 1-meter board.
The Northwestern women's swimming and diving team will participate in the NCAA Championships from March 20-22 in Auburn, Ala., while the men will compete in Austin, Texas from March 27-29.
