Hanus Takes One at ITA All-American

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. -- Northwestern's Tommy Hanus (Palantine, Ill./Palantine) won his first match but lost his second at the ITA All-American Championships qualifier.
Hanus edged Nate Emge of Kentucky 4-3 to advance to the round of 32, where he lost to San Diego's Pierrick Ysern 6-1, 6-2.
The junior from Palatine, Ill. was the lone Wildcat representative at the tournament. The team will be in action this weekend at the Boilermaker Invitational in West Lafayette, Ind.
