EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern has announced game times for seven of its 12 regular-season contests, including the Oct. 5 home game versus Big Ten rival Ohio State.

The contest versus the Buckeyes will kick off at 6 p.m. CDT on ESPN2. It will mark just the eighth time in NU history the Wildcats will play a home night game.

Northwestern's two home nonconference games -- versus TCU on Sept. 7 and versus Duke on Sept. 14 -- will both begin at noon. The Wildcats' homecoming contest versus Purdue on Oct. 26 starts at 11 a.m.

Kickoff times for the Wildcats' remaining two home games, November contests versus Indiana and Illinois, will be announced at a later date.

Northwestern also announced that its Aug. 31 season-opening contest at the U.S. Air Force Academy will begin at 11 a.m. CDT with ABC televising the game regionally. NU's Oct. 12 game at Minnesota and its Oct. 19 game at Penn State will start at 1:30 p.m. and 11 a.m. CDT, respectively.

The Wildcats previously announced that their Sept. 21 game at the U.S. Naval Academy would start at 11 a.m. CDT. No television coverage is scheduled for NU's nonconference games versus TCU, Duke or Navy.
