EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern men's tennis team continues its five-match road trip this weekend, against No. 60 Michigan State and No. 46 Michigan.

This marks the first back-to-back Big Ten matches of the dual season for the Wildcats (6-3, 1-0 Big Ten), who opened up conference play with a 5-2 victory over Purdue Feb. 2.

Michigan State, who host the 'Cats Saturday, is 7-2 this season and is coming off a 7-0 loss to No. 7 Notre Dame.

On Sunday, NU will face Michigan, a team with three nationally ranked singles players. Henry Beam leads the trio at No. 60.

Several of NU's players faced off against Michigan and Michigan State players in the fall at the Toledo Rocket Indoor Invitational, the Midwest Regionals and the Big Ten Indoor Singles Championships. The most notable matchup came between senior Jamie Sahara (Santa Maria, Calif./St. Joseph) and MSU's Andy Formanczyk in the backdraw final at the Big Ten Championships, which Formanczyk won 6-1, 6-3.

Match time for both days is 1 p.m. CST.
