KENOSHA, Wis. - The Northwestern football team conducted an energetic full-pad practice Monday morning at 'Camp Kenosha.' The Wildcats were in half pads for the afternoon session. Both practices went well, as the 'Cats focused on the special teams for a portion of the practice.

"I feel really good about our special team progress," said Head Coach Randy Walker. "Mike Dunbar, our special teams coordinator, has done a great job. The organization and plan that we've put into place in practice has put us ahead of schedule--we're farther along then we've ever been with special team play. I think we will have a great year with special teams."

The 'Cats continue practice Tuesday with a two-hour afternoon session. NU returns to Evanston on Wednesday.
