Evanston, Ill. - Senior men's tennis player Brad Erickson was named to the 2001 All-Big Ten Men's Tennis team, as announced by the Big Ten today. This is Erickson's second consecutive year earning the award. Erickson posted a 6-4 conference mark this season, playing at both No. 1 and No. 2 singles. He began the year at No. 2 where he went 10-4 overall. Head coach Paul Torricelli moved Erickson to No. 1 singles in the latter part of the season, and he went 3-3 in the top position. In doubles, Erickson has recently paired with Josh Axler to garner a 5-1 conference mark.

A native of Eugene, Ore., Erickson attended South Eugene High School. He is the son of Daniel and Margaret Erickson, and is majoring in Economics.
