Men's Tennis Moves Up To No. 30 In Rankings

Evanston, Ill. - The Northwestern men's tennis squad (6-0, 2-0) continues to climb in the WingspanBank.com Intercollegiate rankings. This week they jump four spots to land at No. 30. The Wildcats have defeated three higher ranked teams already this season and are off to their best start in over a decade. The last time NU started 6-0 was during the 1988-89 season when they began 9-0.

This weekend the `Cats travel to Indiana to take on No. 26 Notre Dame (6-2) and No. 60 Ball State (2-4). NU will face the fighting Irish on Saturday at 1 p.m. in South Bend, Ind. Sundays game is slated for noon.

Brad Erickson (Eugene, Ore./South Eugene) and Joost Hol (Newport Beach. Calif./Foothill) both enter the weekend with five game win streaks on the line in singles and as a doubles team. Erickson and Hol have not lost since the adidas Classic the last week in January.
