EVANSTON, Ill.-Northwestern defensive tackle Colby Clark (Austin, Texas/ Westlake) was tabbed a fourth-team Freshman All-American by The Sporting News today.

A redshirt freshman, Clark led Northwestern's interior defensive linemen with 55 tackles, 10 of which went for losses. The 10 tackles for loss were the second most on the squad. He also was a team co-leader with four sacks.

Clark recorded a career-high eight tackles at Indiana. He also enjoyed back-to-back seven-tackle efforts versus Duke and Michigan State. Against the Spartans, three of his seven tackles went for losses with two of three coming on sacks.

Clark also added 10 quarterback hurries this season. He totaled six or more tackles in six of the Wildcats' 11 games.
