Say `YES' to Volleyball!

EVANSTON, Ill. - The Northwestern volleyball team will partner with the Illinois volleyball team and the Big Ten Conference to present an NCAA Youth Education in Sports clinic.

The clinic will be held Saturday, Nov. 3 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the McGaw YMCA in Evanston. It is open to all boys and girls in grades K-8.

Players from both teams and clinic staff members will be on hand to educate participants about the sport of volleyball, good nutrition, winning attitudes and the importance of staying in school.

The Big Ten Conference has been conducting clinics for three years, but Saturday's YES clinic is the first combined effort between Big Ten volleyball teams.

Participants will also receive a free t-shirt and free admission to Saturday night's volleyball match between Northwestern and Illinois.

Match time is set for 7 p.m. in Welsh-Ryan Arena.
