EVANSTON, Ill. - Tonight, Northwestern football head coach Randy Walker will make a special visit to the ESPN.com moderated chat room to talk about the season so far, and this week's contest against Indiana.
Now in his third season at Northwestern, Walker is attempting to lead the Wildcats to a second straight Big Ten crown. Northwestern was picked to win the title in this year's annual preseason media poll.
Last year, Walker guided the 'Cats to a share of the conference championship and an Alamo Bowl postseason appearance. For his efforts, he was named the Big Ten's Dave McClain Coach of the Year.
Before coming to Evanston and turning around the Wildcat fortunes, Walker spent nine successful years at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He left Miami as the school's winningest coach with a 60-36-5 record. Overall, Walker is 74-50-5.
