EVANSTON, Ill. - A pair of changes have been announced on the Northwestern University women's soccer schedule.
For the second time this season, the Northwestern women's soccer team's match with Loyola has been changed. This time, the change is in the venue. The match was initially scheduled for Sept. 16, but was postponed at that time due to the terrorist attacks on the United States.
It was first moved to Sunday, Nov. 4, at 1 p.m. on Lakeside Field. However, with a plethora of events going on at Lakeside Field that weekend--including the Big Ten Field Hockey Tournament--the match has now been moved to Loyola. It will still kick off at 1 p.m.
The site change should not provide too much of a deviation from home-game preparation for the Wildcats, as the drive down Sheridan Road to the Loyola campus is about four miles.
The other announcement came regarding the Wildcats' match at Northern Illinois on Wednesday, Oct. 31. That match will now start at 2:30 p.m., as opposed to its original start time of 6:30 p.m., and will be played on NIU's regular game field instead of in the football stadium.
