Frank (Pittsburgh): Coach Walker: After watching NU take on OSU last sat. How good is the OSU defense? to me #2 Doss and #35 Wilhelm were everywhere then the D-Linemen started moving around looks like a tough D for any offense to take on not only the spread?

Randy Walker: (8:03 PM ET ) I was very impressed with both Doss and Wilhelm. Their entire defense flew to the football and played very hard. It is easy to understand why they are considered one of the Big Ten's best defenses and that Doss and Wilhelm are both getting a lot of mention on All-American teams.

Mike Zalewski - Madison, WI: Randy - It seems like everyone got a little uptight in the Ohio game and let the game run away from us. How can you as a coaching staff ,help get things back on track in the middle of a game when things take a bad turn (like Damien's fumble). Thanks and best of luck Saturday -Go cats.

Randy Walker: (8:05 PM ET ) Mike, as much as anything confidence plays a huge role in a team's ability to execute. We have really been inconsistent with our execution and as a result not been able to sustain our drives on offense.

Jim H '85 White Lake: You're doing a great job coach! How about a dump pass to the tight end?

Randy Walker: (8:07 PM ET ) We need to continue to involve our tight ends in our offensive production. Dave Farman continues to be productive when given the opportunity.

Dennis Davis (Columbus): I have read many comments that you made after losing to Ohio State. All of these comments seemed to attribute the loss to a sub-par performance by the Wildcats. Are you ready yet to give any credit to the Buckeyes? Just curious.Validation isn't needed.

Randy Walker: (8:08 PM ET ) Dennis, I have said often how great a job the Buckeyes did in terms of coaching, preparation and playing.

Matt (West Lafayette): Coach- You say you always teach attitude first. What are you going to do differently this week in preparation for Minnesota that you maybe didn't do last week? Thanks and good luck!

Randy Walker: (8:11 PM ET ) Sometimes it is easy to get caught up with all kinds of things that are involved in a game. We have worked very hard this week in returning to a fast and confident style of play. We have had our best success when we play assertively.

Jayme (Oxford): Remembering where you came from. Do you still keep up with Coach Hep and the Redhawks? Their having a great season.

Randy Walker: (8:13 PM ET ) I certainly do keep up with Coach Hep and I'm excited that they are off to a good start. With so many Miami guys here, we pay close attention to the Hawks.

Nathan (Purdue, IN): Who is the team to beat in the Big 10 (besides the obvious Boilermakers!)

Randy Walker: (8:14 PM ET ) Nathan, who isn't the team to beat in the Big Ten?

Zach (Portland, OR): OSU burned you guys with a few long passes. Minnesota also likes to thrown the long ball. Is this something you're looking to correct heading into Saturday's game?

Randy Walker: (8:19 PM ET ) Zach, OSU made two big shots that led to scores. Unfortunately, we were in good position on both plays. One was a perfect throw and great catch and the other was under thrown and their receiver was able to react back to the football. Ultimately, the law of averages gets back to your favor and we will make a play on a long ball.

Nirav (Chicago): Coach, why not run "Victory Right" as the first play of the game against Minnesota Sat. instead of the last play like last year? Go Cats!

Randy Walker: (8:21 PM ET ) Nirav, you are not the first to suggest using "Victory Right" more often. So far I have resisted that temptation, but don't be suprised if it has a bigger role in the future.

Bob (Bronx): Yankees or Athletics?

Randy Walker: (8:22 PM ET ) If it isn't the Cubs or Sox, I don't care. Wait until next year.

Randy Walker: (8:24 PM ET ) Thanks for joining me tonight. Saturday's game against Minnesota should be an exciting event. I look forward to talking to you about it next week. Goodbye
