Northwestern To Honor 2000 Football Team Saturday Night

EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern University will honor its 2000 Big Ten co-championship football team this Saturday, January 27, at halftime of the Northwestern-Michigan men's basketball game. Start time for that contest is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Welsh-Ryan Arena.

Members of the football team will be on hand to receive the Big Ten championship trophy, and head coach Randy Walker will be presented the Dave McClain Big Ten Coach of the Year Award at that time.

Tickets are still available for Saturday's game between the Wildcats and the Wolverines. To get your tickets, stop by the athletic ticket office at 1501 Central Street, or call (847) 491-CATS.
