Big Ten Kickoff Luncheon Scheduled for Thursday

EVANSTON, Ill. - The Big Ten will hold the 29th annual Kickoff Luncheon this Thursday afternoon, July 27, at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers.
The luncheon will begin in the East Ballroom at 11:30 a.m. Before that, players and coaches will be available to sign autographs and talk to the public. That will be held from 10-11 a.m. in the Promenade.
Each Big Ten team will be represented by two players in addition to the head coach. Northwestern will be sending junior running back Damien Anderson and senior defensive lineman Dwayne Missouri to the function along with head coach Randy Walker. Both Anderson and Missouri were second-team All-Big Ten selections last year.
The featured speakers at the Kickoff Luncheon will be Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit from the "ESPN Gameday" crew.
