EVANSTON, ILL - Northwestern head men's basketball coach Kevin O'Neill announced today the signing of Harry Good (forward, 6-9, 225, Roosevelt, N.Y./Maine Central Institute) to a National Letter of Intent to play basketball at Northwestern beginning in the fall of 2000.
"Harry is an excellent athlete who will give us depth and size on the front line," said O'Neill. "He made great improvements during his year at Maine Central Institute and we look forward to having him in our program."
Good played last season at Maine Central Institute, a prep school in Pittsfield Maine. He averaged 13 points and 11 rebounds per game. Good chose NU over Boston College, Providence, Xavier and LaSalle. Maine Central was 24-4 last season and had seven players sign Division I Letters of Intent.
