EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern men's golfer Luke Donald (High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England/Royal Grammar School) topped this week's Golfweek/Sagarin and Mastercard Collegiate Golf rankings. Teammate Jess Daley (Kent, Wash./Kentwood), meanwhile, is ranked fifth in the Mastercard poll and 10th by Golfweek.

Daley finished the U.S. Compaq Collegiate in Los Cabos, Mexico last weekend shooting a 10-under-par 62 to finish in third place. Daley's 62 tied him with Paul Casey (Arizona State) for the second-best round in NCAA history. Casey shot a 10-under-par 60 on a par-70 course at the 1999 Pac-10 Championships. Tiger Woods' (Stanford 1994-96) 11-under-par 61 at the 1996 Pac-10 Championships is the NCAA record for lowest round.

The Northwestern men's golf team is No. 5 in the country according to this week's Mastercard rankings and No. 10 in the Golfweek poll.
