
Men's Tennis Knocks Off Michigan State, 4-3

EVANSTON, ILL. - The Northwestern men's tennis team improved to 7-7 (1-3 Big Ten) with a thrilling 4-3 win over Michigan State on Saturday at the Vandy Christie Tennis Center.
The Wildcats opened strong by sweeping the three doubles matches, including an 8-6 win by Joost Hol and Brad Erickson at No. 1.
After that, all the Wildcats needed was a split of the six singles matches, and Hol (No. 1), Josh Axler (No. 4) and Jamie Sahara (No. 6) pulled Northwestern through, each winning in three sets.
Northwestern will be back in action Sunday afternoon, hosting Michigan at 12 noon at the Christie Tennis Center.
