Six Wildcats at ITA Regional Championships

Six Northwestern men's tennis players will compete at the Region IV Intercollegiate Tennis Association Championships in Madison, Wis. The Tournament will be played at the Nielsen Tennis Center Oct. 27-30. More than 128 singles players and 64 doubles teams from 29 schools will compete in the four-day event.

Senior Brad Erickson, seeded seventh, was the tournament's runner-up a year ago. Erickson fell to Iowa's Tyler Cleveland in the championship match, 7-6, 6-1. Jamie Sahara, Jackie Jenkins, Josh Axler and Ryan Edlefsen will also compete in the singles competition. Jenkins and Axler will pair up, as will Edlefsen and Russell Bennett to represent Northwestern in doubles action.
