EVANSTON, Ill. - The Northwestern men's tennis team dropped to 2-1 on the season after falling to Ball State Friday afternoon in Champaign.
Joost Hol (Newport Beach, Calif./Foothill) and Josh Axler (Huntington, N.Y./Walt Whitman) were the only Wildcats to get wins. Hol defeated Andrew Seni 7-6, 6-3 and Axler defeated Kevin Burnett 6-4, 6-7, 7-5. Hol also teamed with Brad Erickson (Eugene, Ore./South Eugene) for the only doubles win, over Ball State's Baxter and Pressel, 8-5.
