Women's Volleyball Loses to Louisville, 3-1

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The Northwestern women's volleyball team lost to Louisville in four tightly contested games, 15-12, 15-11, 15-17, 15-11, Saturday night as the Shamrock Invitational closed its second day of competition.
The Wildcats had outstanding double-double efforts from Carmen Burbach (17 kills and 22 digs) and Jennifer Zagoraki (14 kills, 17 digs), while Jennifer Armson (21 digs) and Cassie McKnight (17 kills) also chipped in with standout performances.
Sonja Percan and Kelly McClain led the Cardinals, posting double-doubles in the contest. Louisville finished with a .191 attack percentage, compared to Northwestern's .155.
The Wildcats moved to 0-3 on the season and will take on sixth-ranked Pacific Sunday at noon. A seven-member all-tournament team will be announced at the conclusion of the tournament.
