EVANSTON, Ill. - Sophomore outside hitter Carmen Burbach (Columbus, Neb./Scotus Central Catholic) had 14 kills and 18 digs for her team-leading 10th double-double of the season, but Northwestern dropped a 3-1 decision at Michigan. Senior middle blocker Melissa Doan (Kalamazoo, Mich./Portage Northern) and senior outside hitter Jessica Holloway (Lafayette, Ind./McCutcheon) each tallied 13 kills in the loss. Senior setter Liz Renius (Temperance, Mich./Bedford) passed out 52 assists and recorded five blocks and 10 digs.
