Women's Soccer Earns NCAA Tournament Berth

EVANSTON, Ill. - The Northwestern women's soccer team will be among 48 teams in this year's NCAA tournament. Pairings were announced Sunday evening by the NCAA. The Wildcats will play their first match Wednesday, Nov. 11, at Evansville. Time is to be determined and more information will be posted on NUSPORTS.COM when it becomes available.

Northwestern enters the NCAA tournament with a 14-4-1 record. This marks the second NCAA tournament appearance in the last three years for the five-year-old Wildcat program. Evansville, selected to the tournament field after winning the Missouri Valley Conference championship, sports a 15-5-2 mark.

The NU-Evansville winner will play at Baylor on Saturday, Nov. 14.
