Summary: Northwestern opened a regular-season-ending stretch of four non-conference games with a dominating performance against Loyola-Chicago. NU notched a season-high 37 shots, receiving goals from four different players. Senior forward Dionna Latimer (Middleton, Ohio/Middleton) and senior defender Kristen Palmer (Huntington Beach, Calif./Marina) each had two assists; with her second assist, Palmer took over the team scoring lead. Freshman goalkeeper Susan McCreery (Glenview, Ill./Glenbrook South) made a spectacular diving save in the 89th minute to preserve the shutout.
