Softball Falls to Michigan

EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern (24-21, 5-3 Big Ten) dropped two games to Big Ten leader Michigan in their conference home opener. The Wildcats committed four errors in game one, leading to eight unearned runs for No. 6 Michigan. Gretchen Barnes belted her third home run of the year in the opener. Lindsey Prezell had two doubles in the nightcap, but the Wildcats could not break through. Prezell leads the team with 12 doubles this season.
