Softball Drops Two to Spartans

Michigan State swept two games from NU to surpass the Wildcats in the tight Big Ten standings. Sophomore Brooke Siebel (Brentwood, Tenn./Father Ryan) pitched in both games, earning an RBI in game one to extend her NU single-season record to 33. Senior Lindsey Prezell (Mundelein, Ill./Mundelein) hit her team-leading 13th double in the same game. Game two was called after five innings, an enforcement of the eight-run rule.
