EVANSTON, Ill. - Sophomore Brooke Siebel hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning to give Northwestern (16-15) a dramatic 6-4 victory over visiting Northern Illinois.

The game was close throughout. Northern Illinois scored a pair of runs in the top of the first, and Northwestern answered with one run in their half on an RBI-single by Lindsey Prezell. Siebel leads the team with 20 RBIs.

Siebel (12-10) also earned the victory on the mound, going the distance allowing four runs, three earned, on six hits. She leads the Big Ten with 131.1 innings pitched on the season.
