Sean Wink Named to Big Ten Basketball All-Star Team

EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern sophomore guard Sean Wink (6'2"/Brea, Calif./Brea) will be one of 12 players on this year's Big Ten All-Star Team, scheduled to play seven contests from August 11-19 in Europe. Last year as a freshman, Wink hit a school-record 86 three-point field goals while finishing second on the team in scoring at 12.1 ppg. His 3.19 threes per game last season led the Big Ten and was 18th nationally, while his 45.7 percent shooting from beyond the arc was third in the conference and 20th nationally.

Michigan head coach Brian Ellerbe will serve as head coach for the All-Star team. The other 11 members of the team are Cory Bradford (Illinois); William Gladness (Indiana); Michael Rebholz (Iowa); Josh Asselin and Brandon Smith (Michigan); A.J. Granger (Michigan State); Dusty Rychart (Minnesota); Jason Singleton (Ohio State); Joe Crispin (Penn State); Carson Cunningham (Purdue); and Maurice Linton (Wisconsin).
