Senior captain Doug Bohaboy (Palo Alto, Calif.) won his seventh-straight singles match and 14th-straight set with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Michigan State's Trey Eubanks at the No. 1 position this afternoon in East Lansing. Unfortunately, it was one of only two points that NU could muster against the Spartans (9-11, 5-4 Big Ten), as the Wildcats fell, 5-2.

Bohaboy improved to 8-1 in the Big Ten while playing at the No. 1 singles position. He has won nine of his last 10 duals and his season record now stands at 27-12. In doubles, Bohaboy teamed with junior Martin Bengtsson (Stockholm, Sweden) at the No. 1 spot for an 8-4 win. It was the fifth-straight victory for the pair who improved to 17-10 on the season.

The other winner in singles for Northwestern was sophomore Derrick Nguyen (Darnestown, Md.). Nguyen posted a 6-2, 7-5 victory over Chris Struck at the No. 3 spot.

The Wildcats fall to 9-10 overall, 4-5 in the Big Ten. They are at Michigan tomorrow for their final regular season dual match of the season.
