Evan Eschmeyer to be on Chat Session

EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern 6'11" center Evan Eschmeyer (New Knoxville, Ohio/New Knoxville) will take part in a live internet chat session this Fri., Oct. 16, at 8 p.m. CT. The chat will take place on NUSPORTS.COM, the official internet site of Northwestern athletics.

Eschmeyer, a sixth-year senior, is a preseason candidate for this year's Wooden and Naismith Awards, presented to the national player of the year. The two-time All-Big Ten performer is considered by many experts to be the best collegiate center in the country.

The Northwestern men's basketball team begins practice this Saturday, October 17. NU's first regular season contest is scheduled for Tue., Nov. 17, at 7 p.m. vs. Maine.
