Bohaboy Earns Berth to NCAA Men's Tennis Singles Championships

EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern senior men's tennis player Doug Bohaboy (Palo Alto, Calif./Palo Alto) won an at-large bid to compete in the NCAA Singles Championships at the University of Georgia on May 26-30.

Bohaboy earned the right to play in Athens, Ga., after compiling a 14-8 dual record at the No. 1 singles position for the Wildcats this season. He went 8-2 in the Big Ten and was most recently tabbed the No. 55-ranked singles player in the country by the ITA.

The NU men's tennis team faces Illinois in the first round of the the NCAA Team Championships this Sat., May 15. A complete schedule is listed below. Results from this weekend's regionals will be posted on nusports.com.
