Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament Tickets Application Available

EVANSTON, Ill. - With the beginning of the basketball season right around the corner, Northwestern is getting a head start on the postseason ? specifically, the Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament.
The Northwestern athletic ticket office will be making ALL-SESSION TICKETS ONLY available until December 3. This year, the all-session tickets ? totaling 10 games from March 9-12 ? are $200. Please note that the all-session tickets are good for all 10 games in the tournament, regardless of whether Northwestern is playing in a particular session. No single-session tickets will be available.
Sessions will be as follows ? SESSION 1 ? Thursday, March 9 (3 games beginning at 1 p.m. CT) ? SESSION 2 ? Friday, March 10 (2 games beginning at 11:20 a.m. CT) ? SESSION 3 ? Friday, March 10 (2 games beginning at 6:40 p.m. CT) ? SESSION 4 ? Saturday, March 11 (2 games beginning at 1:30 p.m. CT) ? SESSION 5 ? Sunday, March 12 (Championship game beginning at 2 p.m. CT)
One important point to note is that tickets will be allocated according to the Wildcat Priority Point System. This system was established in 1996 to provide an objective framework in which to allocate limited resources such as bowl tickets and Big Ten Tournament tickets. Access to, and seat location for the 2000 Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament tickets, will be based upon points for the following:
? Current donor participation in the Wildcat Fund through December 1, 1999. ? Consecutive years as a donor to the Wildcat Fund through December 1, 1999. ? Cumulative giving to Athletics. ? Consecutive years as a basketball season ticket holder. ? One time credit as a Varsity Letter Winner.
