Women's Volleyball Shut Out by Ohio State, 3-0

EVANSTON, Ill. - The Northwestern women's volleyball team fell to Ohio State, 3-0, in action Saturday at the Welsh-Ryan Arena.
Game scores were 15-6, 15-5, 15-8 in favor of the Buckeyes, who improved to 8-5 (2-4 Big Ten). The Wildcats fell to 2-14 (0-6 Big Ten).
Carmen Burbach was one of the few bright spots for NU, as she came up with 10 digs to lead the team for the second time in as many nights. Offensively, she had a team-best five digs but hit just .050 for the match. Jennifer Zagorski was one of four Wildcats with four kills, and she added seven digs. As a team, Northwestern hit just .080 while OSU hit .260.
Suzie Stilling and Rosie Snow had 11 kills apiece to lead Ohio State.
The Northwestern women will be in action twice next weekend on the road, meeting Michigan State Friday night and Michigan on Saturday.
