Men's Soccer Shut Out by Butler, 4-0

EVANSTON, Ill. - The Northwestern men's soccer fell to Butler University, 4-0, under the lights in Indianapolis Wednesday night.
The loss dropped the Wildcats to 2-13 overall, while Butler improved to 6-11.
Butler jumped on NU right away Wednesday night, as Dan Griest converted a cross from Ryan Foxworthy just 2:12 into the contest to get the Bulldogs on the board. Giancarlo Barraza added to the lead in the 18th minute, and then Robbie Cameron made it 3-0 before the half with a chip shot over Wildcat keeper Matt Keeler in the 28th minute.
In the second stanza, Drasmin Pierre-Louis closed out the scoring with a rebound goal just 1:36 in.
Keeler ended up playing 81 minutes in the NU goal, coming up with six saves before giving way to Chris Berlin, who made two stops in the final nine minutes. For Butler, Curt Edwards did not make a save. For the game, Butler outshot Northwestern, 12-3.
The Wildcats will be home Sunday afternoon, hosting the University of Denver on Lakeside Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
