EVANSTON, Ill. - The Northwestern men's soccer team earned its second win of the season Sunday, defeating the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, 1-0.
Jun Kim provided the heroics for the Wildcats, scoring his team-leading fourth goal of the season in the 82nd minute. That was enough to provide the win for NU, which outshot the Phoenix, 14-12.
Senior goalkeeper Matt Keeler earned his second shutout of the season, making five saves in the process, while UWGB Josh Lynx had six stops. David Mooradian had three shots to pace the Wildcat offense.
The men are back in action Wednesday night, meeting Butler at 7 p.m. in Indianapolis.
