Hilary Bowen won two IWLCA and Inside Lacrosse All-America awards during a career in which she was among the top goal scorers in the sport. She set the Northwestern single-season record for goals with 81 (a total which now ranks second) during an Inside Lacrosse first-team All-America campaign in 2008 and recorded a streak of 51-straight games with a goal during her career -- at the time the fourth-longest streak in NCAA history.
 
Bowen finished her career ranked third in NU history in points and goals, and fifth in assists.
 
A member of four NCAA title teams, Bowen excelled in the NCAA Tournament. She twice was named the NCAA Championship MVP and was placed on the All-Tournament team a third time.
 
Bowen twice was nominated for the Tewaaraton Award and was a two-time All-American Lacrosse Conference first-team selection. She also was honored for combined athletic and academic prowess as a two-time ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American. She was the 2009 Academic All-American Of The Year in At-Large sports.
