Jeren McGhee is in his second year with Northwestern Athletics as the Assistant Equipment Manager for men’s basketball, women’s basketball, and the spirit squad. McGhee has 11+ years of experience under his belt. He has a colorful track record with stints at Organizations and Universities such as the NBA, NIU and Illinois State.
He was an operations intern at the 2018 NBA Draft Combine. Prior to Northwestern, McGhee was the Assistant Director of Equipment Services at Illinois State, along with being an Equipment Services GA at NIU.
McGhee graduated from SIU-Edwardsville in 2015 with a B.S. in Mass Communication and Speech Communication. He earned a M.S. in Sport Management from NIU in 2018.
