From Chicago, IL. Attended Whitney Young Magnet High School and swam on the varsity swim team. In high school she was the team MVP and earned All-State and All-American honors. She was the state champion and the first CPS student to win in 50 years. She swam for the Chicago Wolfpack Aquatics Club. She plans to major in economics at Northwestern.
