Eddie Larios joined Northwestern University as an Assistant Coach for the Swimming program in May 2024. Larios joined Northwestern following a successful tenure as associate head swim coach at Duquesne University, where he was part of a staff that helped produce a second-place finish at the A-10 Championships and six NCAA "B" standard times. As a team, the Dukes broke seven school records, including one A-10 Championship record.

Larios, who specializes in working with sprint swimmers, joined the Duquesne swimming and diving coaching staff as a volunteer assistant coach in August 2021. He was promoted to a full-time assistant in June 2022.

Larios brings more than a decade of coaching experience at the collegiate, high school and club levels. Prior to Duquesne, he served as an assistant coach at Moon Area High School and worked as an assistant coach with Steel City Aquatics.

At the collegiate level, Larios served as an assistant coach at Boise State from 2012-15 as well as a camp coach and counselor at both Stanford University and the University of Georgia in 2014-15.

He helped the Boise State women to a Mountain West Conference championship in 2014 as well as a pair of runner-up finishes in 2013 and 2015. All told, nine Bronco swimmers qualified for the NCAA Division I Championship during those seasons.

Larios graduated from Boise State in 2014 with a degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis on exercise science.
