Part of a team that broke a NU school record in the 400 Free Relay at NCAA Championships in Federal Way, WA. The relay team of Nikki Venema, Lindsay Ervin, Sydney Smith and Audrey Yu clocked a 3:13.31 in the 400 free relay to finish in 18th place. Their time bested the previous NU record of 3:14.35 set in 2021.
PERSONAL:
From Las Vegas, NV. Attended Bishop Gorman/Palo Verde high school. In 2019 she was the State Champion in the 50 Free, 100 Free, 200 Free Relay and 400 Free Relay, as well as being named MVP. Additionally, she swam for the Sandpipers of Nevada and was a 3x 13-14 NAG Relay Record Holder in the 200 Free, 400 Free and 800 Free LMC. She was also a team record holder and U.S. Open Qualifier. She plans to major in human communication sciences at Northwestern.
