Abby Ramirez returned home to Chicago to serve as Northwestern's graduate manager in 2018. She was named the 2013 Illinois Gatorade Softball Player of the Year with Trinity High School, then went on to compete for Michigan. She earned three NFCA All-Great Lakes Region and All-Big Ten honors, including a 2014 All-Big Ten Defensive Team nod at shortstop.
A stellar infielder, Ramirez signed with the Chicago Bandits in May of 2017 and played in 41 games during the season, collecting 26 base hits, driving in 14 and scoring 13 times.
