    Senior Offensive Analyst
Daniel Segal joined Northwestern's staff as a Senior Offensive Assistant in February 2026.
 
Segal most recently served on the offensive staff at UCLA, where he was named an offensive analyst on Chip Kelly’s staff ahead of the 2022 season. He was elevated to a senior offensive analyst in 2024 and was the interim tight ends coach for the Bruins in the latter stages of the 2025 season.
 
During this past season, Segal worked in tandem with NU quarterbacks coach Jerry Neuihesel, who stepped into UCLA’s offensive coordinator role after the team fell 17-14 to Northwestern in Evanston on Sept. 27, 2025.
 
From 2011 to 2015, Segal attended the University of Miami (Ohio). He earned a Bachelor of Science in Oxford, Ohio, before entering the football profession as a pro personnel intern with the New York Giants from August 2015 to February 2017.
 
Following his stint in the NFL, Segal joined the University of Washington football staff as an offensive assistant in 2017. He held that post until 2018, when he was elevated to an offensive graduate assistant on the Huskies staff. Segal served in that capacity from 2019 to 2022, earning a Master of Education degree from the University of Washington in 2020.
